Concert Gloria – Simona Saturova

Summary

Gloria is not only an angel’s hymn, but also the theme of an entire concert programme sung by the angelic soprano voice of Simona Houda-Šaturová. Together with her favourite ensemble, Collegium Marianum, they chose music of Baroque masters full of joy, tenderness and hope. In contrast is the almost mythical Virgin Mary’s Lullaby by Tarquinio Merula. The audience can join in with the world-renowned singer in Bach’s aria ‘Schaffe können sicher weiden’ – it’s Advent. And at such a time even the apostles Saint Simon and Saint Jude add their Gloria in excelsis Deo!
